Staying at a Mountaineers Lodge is one of the highlights of the winter for Explorers. We will arrive either Friday night or Saturday morning depending on everyone's availability. Activities may include snowshoeing, snow cave building/camping, and skiing (skiing will require a Mountaineers ski leader to be present on the trip, so skiing is tentative).

Dinners will be provided by the lodge each night. Participants will be encouraged to build and sleep in snow caves, but the lodge will be available, as well. Expect to spend the day time digging your snow cave, and then when it starts to get dark, go back into the lodge to warm up, have dinner, and change into a dry set of clothes to spend the night in your snow cave!
