January Break Camp - Meany Lodge - 2019

Youth Program

January Break Camp - Meany Lodge

Join us for our first camp at the Mountaineers' Meany Lodge! We will spend three days snowshoeing, building igloos, and playing in the snow.

Want to enjoy part of your Winter Break with fellow Mountaineers campers? Join us for a three day, two night camp at Meany Lodge! Kids ages 7-11 will have a blast in this winter wonderland and spend their time snowshoeing, igloo building, and snow playing.

We will stay at the Meany Lodge, the Mountaineers'  winter sports resort, located approximately 60 miles east of Seattle off of I-90 near Stampede Pass. The lodge provides a bunk, all of our food, a warm fire to drink hot chocolate in front of, and two legendary volunteer hosts.

Mountaineers camp staff will lead and provide gear necessary for a snowshoeing trip on Thursday. Campers will have the opportunity to try or practice this fun wintertime sport surrounded by the beauty of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest.

We will meet for drop off on Wednesday, January 2nd at 11:00am at the Crystal Springs parking lot (directions will be provided) and take the snowcat to the lodge. Pick up will be in the same place on Friday, January 4th at 4:00pm.

*We will be setting up a carpooling page for registered participants*
