Seattle Snowshoe Winter Camping Lecture

Lecture: Snowshoe / Winter Camping Course

Seattle Snowshoe Winter Camping Lecture - Mountaineers Seattle Program Center

The Winter Camping Course is designed for Mountaineers members who want to make the most of winter by knowing how to comfortably camp overnight in the snow.

  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)

Seattle Program Center, room Goodman A, 7:00pm - 9:00pm.

Students learn about appropriate gear, how to stay warm and dry, and how to identify safe campsites. On the field trip we set up tent campsites, but the focus is to build and stay overnight in a snow cave. And to have fun doing it!
