  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)

700pm - 830pm via Zoom.

Zoom info will be sent to registered participants the day before the lecture.

At this interactive online presentation we'll go over all the course material including clothing and equipment, safe snow travel techniques, weather and avalanche forecasts, and how to register for Snowshoeing trips on the Mountaineers website.

Periodically during the presentation we'll split into break sessions led by experienced Snowshoeing Instructors who will go over their personal gear choices, discuss options that might suit you individually, and answer questions.
