For graduates of the Introduction to Ski Course and experienced Nordic skiers, this course has dual focuses: Hills (how to get up them & how to ski down them) and Striding/Gliding (improving the efficiency of your stride), all while having fun. Completion of the course prepares you to confidently ski on intermediate and advanced groomed trails and easy off-piste terrain, with less effort, enhanced confidence, and more grace on previously challenging conditions and terrain. Taught by PSIA instructors on groomed trails, the class meets 9:30-2:30. Classes are taught on groomed trails out of the Crystal Springs Snow Park in the Snoqualmie Pass/I-90 corridor. A sno-park permit with groomed endorsement is required for each parked vehicle. For more information, go to: http://www.parks.wa.gov/winter Participants supply their own ski gear. Options including gear purchase at retail shops or ski swaps, or rental at various rental locations.
