If you ski in the Cascades, you need to learn to ski the hills! For graduates of the Introduction to Ski Course and experienced Nordic skiers, this class focuses on hills: how to get up them, how to ski down them, how to adapt your technique and control your skis on hills, all while having fun. A one day clinic for those who are unable to take the 3 week Hills course.
This class is 9:30-2:30, with a lunch break.
Taught by PSIA instructors on groomed trails, the class meets on three weekend days. Class is taught on groomed trails at sno-parks in the Snoqualmie Pass/I-90 corridor. A sno-park permit with groomed endorsement is required for each parked vehicle. For more information, go to: http://www.parks.wa.gov/winter . Participants supply their own ski gear. Options including gear purchase at retail shops or ski swaps, or rental at various rental locations.
