Hills, Hills, Hills! - 2017

Cross-country Skiing Course

Hills, Hills, Hills!

A one-day clinic for classic cross-country skiers who want to master going up and down hills.

COVID-19: Learn about our most up-to-date guidance for participants and leaders on our COVID-19 Response page. All participants and leaders must agree to the COVID-19 Code of Conduct before participating in this Mountaineers course.

If you ski in Cascades, learning to have fun on hills is a must!

This one-day clinic is focused exclusively on hills: how to get up them, how to ski down them, how to adapt your technique to them, and how to control your skis on them. It is taught by knowledgeable and friendly PSIA-certified instructors on groomed trails. Completion of the course prepares you to confidently ski on intermediate and advanced groomed trails and easy off-piste terrain.

Prerequisites: Seattle Mountaineers Intro to XC Skiing Course or equivalent classic cross-country skiing experience.

When: Jan 8, 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
