Arrive at Concrete Beach (Pontiac Bay) about 6pm for a 6:30 launch time. Parking is at the water’s edge. There will be fellow kayakers to help unload your boat as needed. After 2 hours of paddling and getting wet, we will return to the beach to share a drink and snacks and watch the sun go down.

For this final Wet Wednesday: Come try a Greenland Paddle.

We will supply the paddles, give some brief instruction and take a paddle in Lake Washington.  Greenland paddles share a lot of characteristics with a traditional paddle but they offer additional advantages in ergonomics, maneuvering, rolling, sculling, and stabilizing your kayak. Learn more about these paddles and see if it is time for you to make the switch.
