  • Mileage: 7.2 nm
  • Maximum Wind: 15.0 kts
  • Maximum Waves: 2 ft
  • Pace: 3.0

Meet at Seward Park and be ready to launch at 10 a.m.  We'll meet at our launch site at the south end of Seward Park, by the tennis courts.  As you enter Seward Park, you'll see the tennis courts to the right.  Parking is limited at Seward Park, so allow extra time to drive to our launch site to unload your kayak, and then park your car on one of the streets adjacent to the park.

Conditioning series events are intended to get people out on the water to develop strength and endurance.  A secondary goal is to offer regular outings, particularly through the winter.

The venue may be any location.  However, paddles that are lower overhead - less travel, simpler logistics - will facilitate regular participation by people in Seattle.

The main focus is steady forward paddling.
