  • Maximum Waves: 2 ft
  • Maximum Currents: 1 kts

Meet at Waterway 18 at 2:00 for 2:15 launch.  Off the water  by 4:15pm

Waterway 18 is a small pocket park NE of gasworks and a short distance south of the Sunnyside boat ramp.  Park on the grave strip north of the road.

We will paddle a loop around Lake Union at a Brisk pace (3.7 knots).  If you want to increase your effort, consider brining a drogue to tow behind your boat.

Conditioning series events are intended to get people out on the water to develop strength and endurance.  A secondary goal is to offer regular outings, particularly through the winter.

The venue may be any location.  However, paddles that are lower overhead - less travel, simpler logistics - will facilitate regular participation by people in Seattle.

The main focus is steady forward paddling.
