Meet at Matthews Beach (South side) at 8:00 AM.

Please bring kayak wheel if you have one.

Rescue Rodeo is for both new and seasoned paddlers with lots of rescue romps, hands-on, wet experience in towing techniques and kayak chaos with a slightly competitive flair.

This event is dedicated to learning and practicing safe, speedy and effective responses to sea kayaking situations when things don't go quite as planned.  All this presented in a full day of on-the-water scenarios.  Prizes for all.

  • DrySuit is recommended.  Wetsuit ok with user's understanding that we WILL be wet!
