This year, this course consists of two online classes via zoom and one on the water activity. This course will satisfy the navigation part for the intermediate badge requirement.
Recommended book: Fundamentals of Kayak Navigation by David Burch
Google classroom will be used to communicate announcements, pre-course reading material, videos and assignments. Please check the required hardware for the zoom classroom under "Required Equipment" tab below
This course has no scheduled activities.
Laptop or Desktop computer with audio and video for the zoom classes.
The 17 Sea Kayak Essentials , a mariner compass, and waterproof watch for on the water part of this course.
