Practice skills before an upcoming trip. Leaders should use this to post practice sessions in advance of longer, more-difficult, or more-technical trips. This session will be testing of sailing kit, and practice / instruction on same.

Required Equipment
The kayaking essentials (see below) plus the Ten Essentials. Additional equipment may be required by the leader - please check the Leader's notes for additional information!
- Flotation in both ends of the kayak
- U.S. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD)
- Paddle
- Spray skirt
- Bilge pump with flotation
- Self-rescue paddle float
- Waterproof whistle
- Appropriate clothing and immersion wear for the conditions
