A full weekend of on-the-water paddler development workshops led by experienced instructors held in beautiful  Deception Pass State Park!

On this annual weekend of instruction and socializing you will self assess and choose two on the water clinics designed to challenge and improve your paddling skills in and around dynamic conditions. Choices will include strokes, navigation, maneuvering in tidal currents, practicing rescue techniques. The controlled environment with American Canoe Association (ACA)-certified instructors provides a safe learning environment. However, you will want to come with some paddling experience to get the most out of the weekend. Completion of the Mountaineers Basic Sea Kayaking course or equivalrncy is required.

To guarantee your space, please register for the event as soon as you can. We will follow up before September 1st with individual course listings.
