Launch and land at Cornet Bay State Park.

In this clinic we will dedicate two-thirds of the day to emphasize the strokes that are most valuable when handling your kayak in moving water; during the remaining third of the day, we will introduce tactics suitable for water that moves.  Although this clinic, Seamanship 101, may be taken independently, by the end of the day you may well feel comfortable enough to join us for that next step, Seamanship 201, on Sunday.

Some paddling experience, and a desire to expand your horizons recommended.  Immersion clothing and helmet required.
