Meet at 8 am at Cornet Bay parking lot.
An all day course of INTRODUCTION to Risk Assessment / Incident Management.
The morning will be class room topics and discussion on P.A.C.E. Primary, Alternative, Contingency, Emergency plans and how to apply them to kayaking. Heuristic Traps and how to avoid them. A brief discussion on Circles of Defense along with a brief discussion on Marine VHF Radio usage.
Note: Topics listed above may or may not be be discussed other topics may be added.
The after noon we will get on the water and practice rescues and towing with some accident scenarios to keep students on their toes.
