Open Water session runs from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at Tibbett's Beach at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah. Please plan on arriving 30 minutes early to sign-in and get geared up for the day on the water.
Directions:
From I-90 Eastbound take exit 15 to SR900 – 17th Av NW
- At the bottom of the offramp, turn Left towards Lake Sammamish
- At the 'Y' at NW Sammamish Road turn Left
- Turn right into Lake Sammamish State Park (0.4mi)
- About 200ft past the Entrance Station, turn Left into the large parking lot
- Drive to the far end of the parking lot nearest the lake and park
Leader Notes: This activity is only open to individuals who register for the Seattle Sea Kayaking Basics course. If you are enrolled in this course, you must also register for the Open Water Skills sessions offered.
