Info
COVID-19: Learn about our most up-to-date guidance for participants and leaders on our COVID-19 Response page. All participants and leaders must agree to the COVID-19 Code of Conduct before participating in this Mountaineers course.
This workshop will be about additive light and how to use one or more light sources to produce the mood/story you are looking for. Participants will have hands on opportunity to learn the basics of artificial lighting, and how to use strobes, constant lights and multiple speed lights. Since we are using a variety of light sources any camera will be fine and knowledge of manual operation is not necessary. However, if you wish to try strobe lighting, a camera with manual features and sync port is required. If you own a Nikon SB900, or Canon 550 EX or 580 EX Speedlight and want to try using multiple Speedlights bring your flash and we will share. Participants should expect to model for each other. This workshop will be at the home of Doug Orton in Federal Way. Driving directions will be sent upon signup
