Would you like to become a lead instructor at the Wilderness Navigation Field Trip? If so, then this on-site practice session will help prepare you with teaching techniques, tools, and tricks of the trade. New instructors are encouraged to attend. Experienced instructors are also welcome, especially if you haven't instructed for a few years.

We'll meet at Discovery Park, and go through the course from an instructor's point of view. We'll go over key points you should cover with your small group, and give prospective leaders an opportunity to 'rehearse' their skills. We'll also cover specific skills in more detail, as needed. There will be plenty of opportunity for Q and A.

In order to attend you need to be a Basic (off-trail) Navigation Course graduate.
