Introduction to GPS and Trip Planning Workshop - Mountaineers Seattle Program Center

This is the one-evening workshop for the "Introduction to GPS and Trip Planning" navigation course. This workshop follows an extensive and required online class. During the workshop, each student will learn how to: 1) Create a custom map in CalTopo including routes, waypoints, and overlays while working on their individual laptop. 2) Export their tracks and waypoints to Gaia GPS. 3) Learn how to navigate around the Seattle Program Center using Gaia and a compass.
