Moss & Lichen Workshop - Seattle - 2019

Naturalist Course

Moss Workshop

We will learn about moss and lichen identification using visual keys for common mosses and lichens in our area, followed by a field trip to identify them together.

Mosses are prevalent and glowing in our forested areas during the winter and fall. We will learn how to identify common mosses and lichens in our area and will share a field trip to identify them together. All students should attend the lecture and choose one of the field trips.

This workshop is intended for members of the Naturalist Study Group.  If the course does not fill with those holding the Study Group badge, we will open it up to all January 10, 2019.
