We will learn about moss and lichen identification using visual keys for common mosses in our area.

Redmond Watershed Preserve Parking Lot at 8:30 am. We will finish by 12:00.
Mosses are prevalent and glowing in our forested areas during the winter and fall. We will learn how to identify common mosses in our area and will share a field trip to identify them together. Required Equipment
A magnifying loupe of at least 10 power is suggested. In addition to the 10 Essentials (please be prepared to move at a slow pace), be prepared for rain. A camera is also useful for taking close up photos of the mosses.
