This is the 12:30pm backup session in case of inclement weather on the previous day. We will learn about moss identification using visual keys for common mosses in our area.

We'll meet at 12:30pm at the restroom. You'll receive your book at this time. 

Mosses are prevalent and glowing in our forested areas during the winter and fall. We will learn how to identify common mosses in our area and will share a field trip to identify them together.

 A magnifying loupe of at least 10 power is suggested. Please bring your 10 Essentials and be prepared for moving slowly.  A camera is helpful for taking close up photos of mosses.
