The seminar will be online from 7 to 8pm, possibly a little longer to solicit feedback from volunteers,  A Zoom link will be emailed to participants shortly before the seminar.

The seminar is in addition to the regular Mountaineers New Hike Leader seminar.  The focus will prepare Mountaineers to lead Urban Walks that anticipate and manage risks and opportunities unique to urban and suburban settings.

Seminar provides brief, real-life, pedestrian safety scenarios often encountered by Urban Walk leaders.

A collection of reference materials for use by prospective Urban Walk leaders will be provided by email.  Participants are encouraged to review these documents before the seminar.

As the Urban Walk Leader training is yet under development, instructors will ask volunteers for participant feedback.
