  • Mileage: 6.5 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 1,500 ft
  • Pace: 2.0-3.0 mph

We will meet at the High Point Way/Tradition Lake Trailhead parking lot at 8:00am directions:       Take Exit 20 (High Point) off of I-90, a few miles east of Issaquah and turn south on 270th Ave SE. Just a few yards south of I-90, turn right onto SE 79th St and continue west. The pavement ends in 0.4 miles where a gate is open each day from dawn until dusk. Continue through the gate and park in the lot. If the lot is full you will need to turn back and park on SE 79th St before the gate and hike the .4 miles to the High Point Trailhead.

Okay let's test our pace on the well maintained and well used Tiger Mountain Trail. We will be hiking in mostly forested terrain. We'll end at Murat's Bridge. This bridge spans High Point Creek and was built in 2015.  I will fill you on who Murat was during the hike.
