Take exit 15 from I-90
Continue on WA-900 W. Drive to Newport Way NW-
left onto Newport Way NW-
the open parking area will be to your right

This is the open parking area next to the skate park - not the parking structure for the bus terminal. I will wear a fluorescent green baseball hat with a headlamp on it.

We'll consolidate cars and head to the trailhead by 6:45AM

To the trailhead:
There many access points that are not marked, described or found on maps. We will be going to an unmarked one, so we will caravan.

We will travel east on I-90 to exit 115, drive north to Vantage Hwy through Kittitas and then turn right onto Vantage Highway. The access point will be to the left of the highway.

Cars at the Trailhead must display a Discover Pass.

We will meet up at the Tibbets Park and Ride and convoy from there. Its a  little over 2 hours drive from Tibbets. Right now there are beautiful desert wildflowers blooming. Depending on our luck there may be blooming cactus If you like to take flower pictures this is an opportunity. We will be hiking primarily on dirt and decommissioned roads with some game/boot trails thrown in.

There are ticks, so using strategies like gaiters, socks over pant legs, or spray pants with premethrin, or use of tick repellent are options.
