We will be meeting at the Preston Park and Ride at 8am.  I will send an email encouraging people to carpool from Seattle as well.

This is a beautiful area, and we should be seeing cacti with flowers on them.  It is also a bit of a scramble, as the trail doesn't always follow a clear path and we may need to cut across open ground.  Because of this I recommend wearing dirty girl or running gators over your boots just to keep small rocks and plants out.

There is not a great map of the area, but if you look at CalTopo, or the WTA you can see the area pretty clearly.  The view from the top is also an incredible photo opportunity.

After the hike we will drive into Vantage to grab some food at the Burger joint and check out the rocks and geodes at a local shop.
