DESCRIPTION:CHS-2 graduation hike led at a 2-2.5 mph pace. We'll travel al
 ong the Granite Creek Connector to get warmed up\, then take an explorator
 y look at the route to Thompson Point. Next\, we'll backtrack to Thompson 
 Lake basin to celebrate with a dip in the lake. The hardest part (mentally
 ) will be regaining the ridge afterward. You'll have a second chance for a
  lake wade at Granite Lake. You got this.
