08:00 AM at the TH.   Travel east on Highway 2 to mile marker 58.  In about 7/10 of a mile turn right (south) onto an unmarked road for the BNSF Railway.  Cross over the train tracks and go right (west) to the TH.  No facilities.  Self-issue permits at TH.  NWF Pass required.

High usage trail.  Lunch at the lakes, bring swim gear.   Prepare for hot/humid/buggy hike.  Optional outdoor post-hike meal 10 miles west on Hwy2, in Skykomish.
