We will be meeting at the trailhead (Berry Patch trailhead, above Chambers Lake) at 8:30am. I will be camping over and will meet people there.
The Goat Ridge trail is a fairly level trail once you get up the first bit of elevation, in the woods. From there, we will make our way toward goat lake, but at the top of the Pass above Jordan Creek we will take a detour up the hill to the top of Hawkeye which has an incredible 360 view of surrounding mountains. Then, we will head back down to the Lily Basin trail and follow the wildflowers to the beautiful Goat Lake (way too cold to swim in). And then, after a break, back to the cars.
