Snoqualmie Point trailhead at 8 am.
Directions from Seattle: take I-90 east to Exit 27. At the end of the off-ramp, go right and follow the road to the end. Go through the gate on the right to enter the trailhead.
We'll form a car shuttle from here to the trailhead at the other end of the mountain. If there are not enough cars for a reasonable shuttle situation, we'll adjust the hike and do it as an in and back with similar mileage/elevation.
See the side of Rattlesnake Mountain that most don't get to. While everyone else is crowding Rattlesnake Ledge, we'll head out beyond this point, where fewer hikers go. The last time I went up (a couple months ago), there was a detour from the trail through a clearcut area but there should be no major obstacles or snow on the trail.
