CHS 2 Hike - Navaho Pass

Navaho Pass is an excellent introduction to the Teanaway area. Rife with wildflowers, fascinating geology, and just enough elevation gain to keep it interesting, this hike has just about everything that the Teanaway is known for. This hike led at a CHS 2 pace (2.0-3.0 mph)

  • Strenuous
  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 11.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 3,000 ft

We'll meet at 8:45 am at the Stafford Creek Trailhead so we can start hiking at 9 am.

Bring your 10 essentials including snacks and lunch. We will enjoy our lunch once we reach Navaho Pass. The views from the ridge are gorgeous, and the ridge itself is dry and snow free, according to recent trip reports posted on WTA's website. We plan to be at the Pass for about 20 minutes before turning back towards the trailhead.

Please note that a NW Forest Pass is required for parking.

Leader will provide additional details to registered participants by email.
