Field trip: Conditioning Hiking Series
CHS 2 Hike - Iron Peak
This will be a sweet, sweet hike with many gorgeous in your face views of Mt Stuart and the rest of the Enchantments. This will be a loop hike. We'll start up the Ingalls Lake Trail but quickly head towards Longs Pass, from there we'll head down towards Ingalls Creek. From Ingalls Creek we'll head up Turnpike Creek toward Iron Mt, we'll skirt the shoulder of Iron Mt and then head back and down to a trailhead on the road about 1.5 miles from where we parked. We'll do car shuttling from there. A heads up that this hike may still have issues due to snow levels. We plan to scout hike this and will definitely get back to everyone asap should we need to change hikes. CHS hike led at a CHS 2 pace (2.0-3.0 mph)
