CHS 2 Hike - Indian Bar-Cowlitz Divide

This is a Key Exchange hike on the Wonderland Trail with one group starting at the Box Canyon Trailhead and the other group starting at the Fryingpan Creek Trailhead. UP TO 16 HIKERS CAN PARTICIPATE ON THIS HIKE. SO ONCE THIS HIKE IS FULL PLEASE CONTINUE SIGNING ON TO THE WAITLIST WITH THE GUARANTEE (UP TO 16) THAT YOU WILL GET ON THIS HIKE. Your Leaders include JUSTIN and RACHEL JACOBS. CHS hike led at a CHS 2 pace. (2.0-3.0 mph)

This hike will to be part of the Mt Rainier Campout Weekend. We will set up some key-exchange logistics prior to the weekend and do final group organizing Friday Night to set us up for an early Saturday AM departure for the trailheads.

This is a serious Go-Getter hike with many miles, and many hours on the trail. Be prepared for some high elevation challenges as we will reach 6,800' at Panhandle Gap, the highest point on the Wonderland Trail and a place where we could still have snow crossing challenges.  We will assess and apprise you all of conditions as we get closer to the hike date.
