This can be warm hike, depending on the day, but recent trip reports say that it is snow free and blooming with wildflowers. I have not yet done this hike, but from the wonderful description on the WTA site, this is a mixed hike of woods and open fields. It is a steady climb, and then an easy ridge walk with occasional views out to Leavenworth and the Enchantments.
