CHS 2 Hike - Enchantments Traverse

CHS2 GRADUATION HIKE. A tough but glorious traverse through some of the most spectacular scenery our state has to offer. Starting at Eightmile, we'll hike to Colchuck Lake, then up Aasgard Pass, along ridges, and through alpine meadows past a medley of lakes, granite peaks and larches, eventually ending at Snow Lakes trailhead.

Fri night camping required!  Leader will reserve space at Eightmile campground for both Fri & Sat nights. Sat night camping after the hike is optional but strongly recommended as this is a very physically demanding hike.

Please be in good shape and be willing to do some minor scrambling-like moves. Rapidly changing weather and limited daylight are also concerns. We will be starting out in the dark/dawn hours. Please have headlamp with extra batteries as well as clothing for a variety of conditions. This will be a beautiful, challenging hike, positive attitudes will make this hike an enjoyable one for all!
