CHS 2 Hike - Duckabush River

CHS hike led at a CHS 2 pace (2.0-3.0 mph). This trail starts with a couple miles of gentle up-and-down, through forest coated with thick mosses, with glimpses of a crashing river that’s an ethereal shade of blue-green. We'll turn around at Five Mile Camp.

Leader will be driving around via I-5 and US-101, departing the S. Federal Way P&R (901 S. 348th St.) at 7:00 a.m. If you’re coming from Seattle or points east, this is the best option. If you plan on taking a ferry, please allow extra ferry/driving time to arrive at the trailhead by 9:00 a.m. Options will be detailed in email from leader.
