DESCRIPTION:Cutthroat Pass via Pacific Crest Trail is one of the most scen
 ic hikes in the North Cascades. It is a worthy contributor to 100 Classic 
 Hikes in Washington. However\, due to long drive to the trailhead this hik
 e will only be attempted if snow levels and creek crossings allow it. The 
 leader will scout the hike the weekend prior and make a go or no go decisi
 on based on the results. If no go\, a different North Cascades hike with s
 imilar statistics will be chosen instead. This is a CHS hike led at a CHS 
 2 pace (2.0-3.0 mph).
