CHS 2 Hike - Colchuck Lake

The hike starts in a lodgepole pine forest along side Mountaineer Creek steadily climbing to an alpine lake set in granite cliffs under the towering crags of the Enchantment peaks. CHS 2 hike led at a pace of 2.0-3.0 mph.

Meet at trailhead at 9am. NW Forest Pass required for parking.

Bring your 10 essentials including snacks and lunch. We will enjoy our lunch at Colchuck Lake -- one of the finest lake views in the Cascades. We plan to be at Colchuck Lake about 20 minutes.
