This hike includes 2 of my most favorite hikes in Mt. Rainier Park, 3rd Burroughs and Glacier Basin. We will start at the White River Campground and hike counter clockwise up to the Sunrise area then over to 2nd. and then 3rd Burroughs where we will have the Winthrop Glacier right in our face. From there we will drop down and continue to circle around to the Glacier Basin trail where we will head up to the Inter Glacier for a nice close up view of this Glacier then back to White River. The different changing views and landscapes of Mt. Rainier make this a must see hike. You will see it all in this trip. This will be a long day at about 18 to 20 miles depending on how close we hike to the Glaciers and 4,000 ft. gain but you will enjoy every minute of it.
