A Pacing Hike for CHS 1.   It's also a good opportunity to get your gear organized and maybe even pick up some tips from your peers on how to satisfy your ten essentials. Please be prepared as you would be for more remote endeavors. We'll stop for several breaks, including one extended snack/lunch break.  Don't forget to bring a face mask and hand sanitizer. The hike should take on the order of  5 hours, depending on pace.  More details, including expected trail conditions,  will be provided in the Hello Hiker letter that will come 4-5 days before the hike.
