Group will meet at the trailhead at 9:00 am and be ready to hike.
Our goal will be Peggy's Pond. The trail skirts a couple of small pretty lakes, but the real showstopper is the andesite tower of Cathedral Rock rising 1,084 feet above the ridge. From the junction with the PCT, we will travel another 0.1 mile to catch some next-level views of Mount Daniel, Cathedral Rock, Deep Lake, and the mountain ranges to the west. Our plan is to continue on another 0.7 mile on Peggy's Pond Trail 1375 to Peggy’s Pond.
