Chances are it will be a warm day so, let's plan on an early start by meeting at 6:30 AM at the Preston Park and Ride to check in and a consolidate vehicles for the trip over to Snoqualmie Pass.  I'll send detailed information at the close of registration.

This is a classic Snoqualmie Pass hike with scenic vistas and a dramatic setting.  We will follow the PCT from the Trailhead at the Pass through mature forest, avalanche chutes (not much of a factor this year) and a steep traverse along the side of Kendal Peak to our destination, the Katwalk itself.  In addition to stopping along the way as needed, we will take a break near the Katwalk for lunch and pictures before retracing our path back to the Trailhead.  If the weather is sunny and warm bring plenty of fluids for hydration and sunblock for protection as a good part of the trail is open and exposed.
