CHS 1 Hike - Indian Bar-Cowlitz Divide

This is a Go Getter hike - CHS1 hike led at pace 1.5-2.0 mph. Hike from Box Canyon on the Wonderland Trail through alpine meadows and some of the most beautiful scenery in Mount Rainier National Park.

We will meet at the Tibbetts Park and Ride at 5:30 am.

This is a strenuous hike, but the payoff is great views and serene meadows.  After ascending, we will then descend about 800 feet to Indian Bar where we will stop to eat and take in the scenery.  The decent means that we will have an ascent after lunch when we head back toward the trailhead.
