Meet at Bothell-Woodinville P&R at 7:00 am for optional carpooling, or ~9:15 am at  the trailhead.  It's approximately 2 hours from the P&R to the trailhead.

This trail near Leavenworth is one of my favorite early season hikes. It offers lush green forest with maples and Ponderosa pines, sunny open areas teeming with wildflowers, and 360 degree views of Tumwater canyon, rugged mountains, and the Wenatchee River. It can be quite warm if we're lucky enough to have sun, so bring plenty to drink!

Meal/snack after the hike at the outdoor patio at Sleeping Lady resort just up the road.
