Field trip: Conditioning Hiking Series
CHS 1 Hike - Cascade Pass & Sahale Arm
Often labeled as the best day hike in the North Cascades, this trail is gorgeous every step of the way. Hike through evergreen forests, through fields of wildflowers and heather, past marmots, mountain goats, and maybe even a bear. Once on top, enjoy spectacular views down to Doubtful Lake and out to layers of jagged, snow-capped peaks. CHS hike led at a CHS 1 pace (1.5-2.0 mph).
