This is a good hike for wildflowers and birds in the spring. There is a nice view from  Umtanum Ridge where we will have lunch (not provided).  In eastern Washington we increase the odds for a sunny day. It may be hot and so I am requesting that hikers dress in light colored and loose fitting clothing.
