Likely 8:30am at "The Store" at 37th & Commercial in Anacortes, then convoy to trailhead (cell coverage typically very poor at Heart Lake) Pit toilets at Heart Lake parking lot.
Waiting for news from Olympia and The Mountaineers on guidelines for group hikes. Currently, Anacortes is limiting trailhead parking to ten vehicles. If allowed, expect to maintain distancing of six to twelve feet from other group members. Bring a face covering and gloves for situations that may require it. I'll provide a listing of Anacortes take out locations for after the hike. No carpooling except for immediate household. We may test some hand signaling to facilitate distancing.
Could be cancelled as late as the 4th, if current guidelines continue.
