You must enroll in the 2015 Basic Wilderness Skills course to participate. This is the first activity in the course. Attending is required to graduate/complete the course.
The workshop is a fun way to learn key outdoor travel skills, responsibilities, and how to sign-up on trips exploring the mountain trails you've read about in guidebooks. Sponsored by the Seattle Hiking Committee, the Basic Wilderness Skills (BWS) course will support and encourage you to develop outdoor skills that will help you enjoy hiking and backpacking in the Pacific Northwest.
