We'll start with a tutorial on how to make tape-gloves. Then we'll have three different stations setup for top-roping:
- Top-roping on the Basalt Columns, to practice climbing a hand crack
- Top-roping on the South Plaza Climbing Wall west, to practice on the artificial finger cracks there
- Top-roping on the friction slabs in the north plaza, to practice friction technique
In addition to our usual gear, I'd recommend bringing rock shoes for this, instead of our usual climbing in boots.
Required Equipment
All required Rock Climbing gear in the course syllabus.
Also, rock shoes. Also, a roll of 1.5" generic athletic tape, for making tape-gloves.
